Mark Stosberg, the original author of CGI::Uploader, and I are designing V 3 of his module.
We will add the obvious things to the meta-data stored in the db: File size, and file name on the server.
However, if you have other suggestions, let us know.
One issue is indeterminate - or fraudulent - MIME types or file extensions.
If you know of any good lists of file extensions, or improvements to MIME::Types, let us know.
Lastly, the API of V 3 will not be compatible with the API in V 2.15. Sorry.
